Gerade haben zwei Restaurants eröffnet:

Nun kursiert das Gerücht,
dass die Tage von Goldneun

Dinner and Wine
09. November 2011
We did it again. For one thing, we had lunch at Les Climats. Finally, a new glimmer of culinary hope in the desolate dining culture around Potsdamer Straße (sorry Achmed from Ölweide, but soups and salads every day? come on...) So we ventured to Roland Kretschmers newest wine store for vegetable soup, quiche and cheese, accompanied by a 2009 Bourgogne Passetoutgrains.

But that's not all. Our office cooked again on Friday, this time a wild mix of vegan, Spanish and Hessian-Italian cuisines. The Passetoutgrains accompanied our meal once again, and while we would have appreciated a good two to three bottles more, as usual, at least we didn't start into the weekend entirely shitfaced. But our frugality should not be attributed solely to this wine's affordability – it costs a mere 6,90 euros per bottle. The cross of pinot noir and gamay grapes smells young and wild, like Sturm and Drang, almost as if it still needed to buck its horns (aka needs to be stored away another year). But after the initial shock, it's a polite and fruity game of flavors with acidic nuances next to sweet forest berries, just like we wanted it for an abundant meal and ensuing entertainment.
