(1) Zoulou Bar

The walls are a little gilded from all the smoke, but Zoulou's regulars don't seem to mind. "They don't even want us to renovate anything,"  says Alam Böhm. Perhaps they fear for the bar's cozy charm, which is one of its main attractions and worth the trip beyond the rims of Neukölln and Kreuzberg to "unhip" Schöneberg.  Starting at 1 am, the crowd working in the surrounding cafés and restaurants will stop by for after-work drinks.

(2) Heisenberg

There ain't no menu, but you won't need one anyway, because Robert Bettendorf will just mix whatever you need to start off your night or ring in the morning hours.  Heisenberg is a no-frills, no pretentions location - this goes for the drinks and the general atmosphere.  Drinks are served until the very last boozer falls off his chair.

(3) Booze Bar

Sure, you can get a cheap happy hour cocktail on every corner of Simon-Dach-Straße, but most will include a free monstrous headache the next day.  The Booze bar is a welcome alternative, offering high quality cocktails for those looking to get ready for a night of clubbing around Friedrichshain or just boozing with style.

(4) Panke

Hidden in a maze of couryards across from Stadtbad Wedding, Panke offers drinks and club events, as well a tv screen with over 300 videogames from the 1980's. Get a membership card from the Panke e.V. to join.
