Loftus Hall | Karaoke Hunting Cabin

Cruising partygoers are far and few between at this stretch of Maybachufer: During the daytime, the only people entering the parking lot bordering Loftus Hall are industrial workers. After dark, you won't spot anyone around who hasn't come knowing exactly what they're looking for - a new, hot mix of Club and Bar in the borderlands between Kreuzberg and Neukölln.

Not many people bother to show up before midnight, which is when the bar morphs into a club and Djs start spinning their sets. Before then, Loftus Hall – run by the owners of “Kleine Reise”, a former nightlife gem on Spreewaldplatz - is just a cozy bar that looks a little like a hunting lodge.

Occasionally, Loftus Hall hosts Karaoke nights before twelve, where youtube makes any song singable and a shameless mc will put on a pitch-perfect rendition of “Perfect Day” by Lou Reed if no one's drunk enough to make a fool out of themselves yet. But the later, the fuller the venue, and after a final collective “We are the World”, everyone heads over to the dancefloor area together.

The clubbing atmosphere at Loftus Hall is intimate, yet peaceful, no matter if they're playing 50's jams or electronic beats.
