1. Fräulein Frost

Ice cream lovers in Neukölln's north know to head to Charlotte Pauly when they're looking for housemade ice cream specialties. The cucumber-lemon-mint ice cream is already a classic.

2. Con Calma

A pioneer on the Frozen Yoghurt front. Frozen yoghurt has less fat than traditional ice cream and it's more fun too because there is an armada of toppings to choose from. Con Calma offers everything from fresh fruit to gummy bears, smarties and chocolate.

3. Die Eismacher

The ice cream here is green and purple – but not because of artificial coloring. Uve is a purple sweet potatoe grown in the Philippines and Pandan is a green Asian screwpine plant with a sweet flavor.

4. Hokey Pokey

Hokey Pokey ice cream is a New Zealand specialty. Nico Robert adds Creme Double, real Bourbon Vanilla and crunchy caramel to a vanilla ice cream base.
