Curry 36 | New Venue near Zoologischer Garten

With their iconic Curry 36 on Mehringdamm drawing masses of tourists and Berliners alike, the Stenschkes really already have their hands full. Curry 36 been doing great for over 30 years, and many of its fans have longed for offshoots to come to their parts of town. Sure, the owners had thought about it, but no one really took the initiative to do anything.

Until they received an offer they couldn't refuse. When Stenschkes were asked to open up another Curry stand directly infront of the S-Bahn station at Zoologischer Garten, they said yes. “As old Westberliners, the Stenschkes are closely connected with City West and the new venue,” explained a speaker for Curry 36.

The new stand will have the same menu and quality as the flagship counter in Kreuzberg.

The exact opening date has not been revealed yet, maybe because the owners of Curry 36 wanted to avoid having to postpone several times, as has been the case elsewhere in Berlin recently.

Either way, Charlottenburg's Currywurst lovers now have something to look forward to!
