Once a month, the Cookies restaurant in Mitte organizes special events for kids and their parents. There's always something new going on – next month, Cookies will be collaborating with the Based in Berlin exhibition at the Atelierhaus in Monbijoupark on Oranienburger Straße. Two curators will lead around young art afficionados through the exhibition, which hosts contemporary paintings, photographs, installations and films. Kids can then pick up a brush of their own or even sculpt clay sculptures. At the end of the day, everyone's invited to the backyard BBQ. This series of events was originally created for ageing regulars of the Cookies restaurant that want to continue to socialize in a familiar environment.
